A fixed penalty is
currently £60 and three points on your licence. If you are
summonsed to court the magistrates have the discretion to
fine you up to £1000, give you from 3 to 12 points on your
licence, disqualify you from driving or even send you off
for compulsory re-testing. Further information can be found
