Sepialized Body Geometry Gloves.
I have been having
problems with my hands going numb when riding longer
distances. After doing some research on the internet
I found that the problem can be caused by pressure
being applied to the nerves in your hands. I have
done some research into this problem and have found
that a change in gloves maybe the solution to my
problem. I was using a pair of old GT mitts with
very little padding.

I have recently purchased
a pair of Specialized Body Geometry mitts which have
gel padding in the areas where the nerves that can
cause numbness are situated. They are very
comfortable and have an absorbent thumb for wiping
sweat away. I have used them a few times now and so
far the numbness I had felt has been dramatically
reduced. They do however feel a bit odd for the
first few miles as they have a lot of padding in the
palm area but this is how they overcome the pressure
issues that can cause numbness.
